Our trip to Italy was great, new things in development, fresh ideas, and a promise from me to you that 2006 will be a banner year for MKP and Birel.Layaway your new or used chassis this month. Its official - the 2005 season is over on the east coast. It has been a great year for MKP due to all of our loyal customers. We are now ranked as the number two Birel dealer in the country, this is a great honor for us. We will be leaving for the Birel factory and some racing in Italy on the 14th and will return on the 20th, the karting center will not be open after 3pm that week. We have over 10 used Birel lease karts in stock, some with a couple of races on them, stop by and take a look.

Congratulations to team driver and "WKA GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPION" (as he likes to be called) John Dixon. The Margay bubble has now been burst. John drove his Birel R30-CY MTS through the field in the Yamaha can class to win the Eagle.

Mooresville Grand Prix was huge. Congratulations to Blake Deister for his win in the F200 class. We had great weather and fast racing on a fantastic course. Hope to see you all next year.

On to the TaG World Finals at NCMP. At this time all lease engines have been acquired. The support tent will be up early on the 15th, please stop by if you need assistance. Hats off to the TaG USA Group for getting to this point.

Our trip to the Birel factory in Italy will take place in November. Tony ask if he could stay open and not go on the trip,(He is employee of the month don't you know) how could I say no. The shop will be open that week.

The Mooresville Grand Prix is October 1st and 2nd, entry, information, reserved pit spot, pro race, car show and kid kart entry forms are available on-line, just go to our link page to download. This years pro race is TaG with a $ 1000.00 dollar purse. Mooresville Grand Prix is held in Pioneer Park and with over 400 entries and 1500 spectators last year, this years event will be even larger. Please plan to attend.

Italy has shut down and the word "Hot" has been redefined as temperatures have hit record marks. The AM29 is performing very well right out of the box. We are posting wins on closed circuit tracks as well as street races with this kart. In terms of sales of Birel's we are ranked number 2 in the country as of this month. It is our goal to keep the level of support and parts inventory at a level that complements our growth. "Birel Works" is more than just a slogan, it is a fact . The rapid growth of this product is due to the continued testing at the Factory, Importer, Motorama Kart Parts and You. It hot hot hot. Track temps are reaching over 140 degrees. Bottled water sales are off the chart, and Italy is about to shut down. All current customers need to place orders this month as parts supply will dry-up quickly. You can never have too many spares..... In racing a tall tail is often told like, we ran a 43.2 second lap, or my kart was on rails. Its hard to pull the wool over a stop watch, take a good look at the times run by some of the Birels out there. Have you noticed a lot of red karts? Its is because Birel’s WORK. Easy to setup, Easy to drive, Easy to take home a better finish. If you are looking for an edge for your self or to give your child the best equipment and support available you need to be on a BIREL. MKP wants to congratulate Vitor Meira (a birel pilot) on a great Indy 500 finish. Team pilots Kevin Harris and Clay Maddox are putting the PRD Fireball on the WKA podiums. Indiana is all about racing this month. Anderson Mayors Cup results will be available soon. Bill Mclaughlin Jr. won the Yamaha Jr. Can race. We are looking forward to further testing with the AM29. Anderson was a great testing ground, we made a gearing error and Jr. made a large driving error (crashed) and we still placed third after leading all but the last 4 laps.

It has started... the testing, the training, the polishing. Karting in the midwest is beginning to bust out. We have seen many drivers and teams make the switch to birel over the winter months, I want to thank each of you. Welcome.

I think its time for WKA to step up and give us some direction. We have seen tolerances out of the box that will not pass TaG USA rules, we can not wait much longer for a fix. The new Funkhouser PRD's are ready for the track, blue printed to TaG USA rules and are going to be a sleeper. The team travels to Florida for testing on the AM29. This chassis show great promise across both 2 and 4 cycle platforms. All Italian chassis manufactures raised the price of product this month due to the condition of the US dollar.  I will honor all quotes until the end of this month. Let go racing.

Racing is just around the corner, now is the time to get your new ride lined up. We have been testing the new chassis line and are esstatic about the results, we are as much as .2 quicker a lap. We will be running a PRD and Rotax in the TaG classes this year. Corby Concepts sill be suppling the paint for the team helmets. We are looking at Easy Kart as another solution for the TaG class, keep checking back for updates. Keep thinking spring...

You can use Pay Pal now to purchase items on the for sale page. The AM29C-Y Motorsports chassis is in-house and ready to go. We will be in Austin Texas at the end of the month along with the Italians race team and management learning how to work with setups for low grip, temporary courses that the new “M”’s were designed for.
