New radiator coming soon for all you shifter and tag guys. This radiator is very efficient dressed with some carbon. You are going to have to have one of these. I am thinking of putting one on a Yamaha kart, just because it looks so fast.

March marks the official start of cabin fever. It’s nice outside then snowing or raining, it’s also the time we all need to get our karts out and do some maintenance. 01/24/2008 MKP Driver Jason Lee dominates the Masters Class @ FWT. Jason Lee wins both rounds at Miami Homestead. "The ceramic pads and floating rotors are so consistent its unbelievable. The chassis has a huge window for being competitive out of the box with a generic set up it went faster that I had ever been on the track configuration here at Homestead." according to Jason.

Motorama Kart Parts located in Mooresville, Indiana has been named the number one Birel dealer in North America. The announcement was made by Oscar and Ronni Sala at the annual dealer meeting in Lissone, Italy.

The North American Birel / MRP dealer network is over 60 dealers strong. Birel is one of the most well respected companies in Italy dating back to 1950’s and has had the likes of Christian Fittipaldi, Eddie Cheever, Mika Hakkinen, Jaun Pablo Montoya, Vitor Meira, three time world champion Mike Wilson and the only American to win a world title, Lake Speed, behind the wheel of the companies products.

07/01/2007  The big news at MKP this month has been the movement within the shop, Bill McLaughlin Jr. received his competition permit to race in the F1000 Series, and Kevin Harris will be moving on to take a position in manufacturing. Sales continue to be strong. Whiteland Raceway Park is the latest race track to use the N35 Birel rental chassis's, stop by and support the oldest karting track in the country. 06/01/2007  The racing world is again in Indianapolis this Month. F1 always generates a lot of interest in karting, and this month is starting off strong. Sales of the very cost effective Monza line are strong, if you happen to see Bill McLaughlin Jr. lap most of the field at the Lafayette Square Mall Grand Prix, he was on a Monza 30mm chassis.

We are please to now be a dealer for Indiana's own Hoosier Tires. The R60 compound is now legal to run in the Lucas Oil Indy Karting Series and is proving to be a very good match for the Dunlop's and Bridgestone's. Contact Tony for additional information on the Hoosier Tire line.

05/01/2007  We are racing now! Its is getting very busy around the shop these days with the local series all starting to go gang buster. The Indy Karting Series held a fantastic event last month at the Lafayette Square Mall in Indy. Large fan turn out and some great racing make for a stellar event. On the National Level, our Cadets are taking most of the podium spots. The new WKA approved Yamaha/HPV junior 1 chassis is now available. Birel will now cover this class as it has and is doing in the cadet class. Get yours today.

05/23/2007 Robert Stout covers the field at the stars event. MKP Spec driver Robert Stout places 2nd at the Stars Of Karting event at NCMP. After leading the quite a few laps a last minute pass moves Robert off the top spot, finishing just .217 off the winner. Way to perform. 04/01/2007  March chill brings April deals. With the artic chill at the end of March has sparked Tony to cut some prices to generate a little heat in the shop, give him a call.

A lot of club racing is starting here in the Midwest, this would be a good time to spend a little quality time with your kart, Have you changed the batteries on your tach?, Lubed the bearings and tie rod ends?, We have found that most karts that visit the shop still could use a little more TLC.

The race team is off the Norman OK this month for the first round of the STARS series. We are looking for big results.

04/05/2007 Motorama Kart Parts and Conor Daly part ways. We are extremely happy for Conor, he has been a very important part of our family, we will miss his presence.

03/01/2007  Got word today that NCMP will open for practice in 16 days, great news as we are all getting restless. MKP has a busy schedule this month, Manufactures Cup at Jacksonville, then onto Ocala for the final round of the winter tour.

Chassis sales are very good, used chassis's are doing very good as well. We have the new Monza's in stock, these are very nice looking, and performing very well. Stop by and take a look.

Back for another season will be Conor Daly and Jamie Ferrell in Spec Racer, while Bill McLaughlin Jr. will handle the JICA class. New additions to the team in Spec Racer are West Coast stand out John Crow, and Lucas Oil backed Robert Stout, young guns William Woodard and Texas Phenom Austin Self work the Cadet class while Jason Lee goes ballistic in ICC.

01/15/2007 Update from the FWT. Top 10 finishes in TaG, Master Shifter. Top 20 in JICA. Team MKP had a very rough weekend, over aggressive driving, mechanical failures and a little bad luck. Now that we have all that out of our system, we are looking forward to round two.
